The Weather Cast Network is going to be relaunching many areas of it's site Wednesday afternoon, in preparation of expanding it's operations and bringing more services to the realm of operations.  Affiliate websites that wish to participate in the network will have guidelines that they will be required to follow, so that the network can have a blanket service and standard operating procedures.  We'll have more information on this as time goes by.

As well, WCN will be open to all Weather Enthusiasts.  However, many of our groups will be only open to trained members, and members will need to show a proficiancy in weather analysis before allowed to give detailed weather analysis within the network.  Participation by those under the age of 18 will be allowed, based on training and knowledge.  16 and under will be allowed to participate on the site in a learning fashion but will not be allowed to participate in active severe weather chats.  There WILL however, be a "Analysis Training" chat available to "Practice" during severe weather events.
